We are excited to announce that DreamHack and Monster Energy have teamed up for more StarCraft® II action, at Blizzard Entertainment’s StarCraft II World Championship Series (WCS) Austin event! This WCS Circuit competition takes place April 28-30.
WCS Austin will attract some of the world’s best StarCraft II players to compete for a prize pool of $100,000 and a direct seed to the WCS Global Finals at the end of the year. The top 16 players at WCS Austin will also gain WCS Circuit Points to help them in qualifying for the end of year event.
Monster Energy and DreamHack have a long history together in StarCraft II and will aim to live up to that legacy. Their support enables DreamHack to host esports events at the highest level, while bringing these games to the fans live at events and those at home through online broadcasts that can be enjoyed the world over.
